PRSSA-nal Journey -

Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) have taken a hit in the American political arena recently, yet the groups who are affected and those who support them keep moving forward.

Women have made great strides in education and professional advancement, including members of the Long Beach chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA LB). This diverse group of mostly women wears different hats and have important stories to share.

The talented group of women come from different backgrounds and continue to be important to the professional world. They often have to juggle responsibilities and roles, but are often judged unfairly despite their abilities and accomplishments. 

This story features two women in the public relations program at CSULB who are in different chapters of their life. They are defining what their journey and education means to them. No copy and paste for them. I want to shine a light on what they can do, not on what people say they can’t.
